The Lost MUSKETEER of Creek Lane
Real life Quirks vs Raw emotions
Richard Ayoade
I really adore the way Richard Ayoade uses his characters to present the rawness of being a human. I mentioned this within my section of humanism, with The Killer's influence through their song: Human. I really like how Ayoade has a unique style, and works with various close ups to allow the audience to gaze upon the character's facial expressions. These facial expressions are important, as they denote a feeling of vulnerability & affection. Two things that quirky filmmakers have a tendency in doing.
